Lågøya lies north of Håøya and is about 900 metres long and 13 hectares (130 dekar) in area, with 21 rental cabins, a tennis court and a boathouse. It has been owned since 2022 by the Sparebankstiftelsen DNB foundation and is managed as a public recreation area by DNT Oslo og Omegn together with Oslofjordens Friluftsråd.
Lågøya is the long, low island north of Håøya, roughly 900 metres end to end. Cabins, a boathouse and a tennis court are visible inland. For years this was a company retreat, closed to the public. It is an open recreation area now.

Lågøya is around 900 metres long and covers about 13 hectares (130 dekar). It was built up with holiday houses, 21 rental cabins, a tennis court and a boathouse, and served for many years as a retreat for an oil company, most recently owned by Circle K.
In April 2022 the Sparebankstiftelsen DNB foundation bought the island from Circle K, taking it over around 1 July that year. The purpose was to open the island to the public as a recreation area. Management was handed to DNT Oslo og Omegn, the Oslo branch of the Norwegian Trekking Association, together with Oslofjordens Friluftsråd.
Lågøya is a recreation area with rental cabins run by DNT Oslo og Omegn and Oslofjordens Friluftsråd. The cabins, the boathouse and the tennis court from the company years have been kept and opened to the public. The island lies north of Håøya and northwest of Aspond.

For more than half a century Lågøya was an oil company's private holiday retreat. A savings bank foundation bought it in 2022 and gave it to the public.
There is a tennis court in the middle of an island in the Oslofjord, left over from the company cabin era.
