Storskjæret

Landing
Islets and skerries without a quay are reached by your own boat or by kayak. Many of them lie inside seabird reserves where landing is banned in the breeding season, as a rule from 15 April to 15 July. The boundaries and the dates are in Naturbase at the Norwegian Environment Agency, and they are worth checking before you go ashore.
Nearest island with an article
Askholmene lies about 2.4 km from here. Fire små holmer ca. 4,7 km nord for Drøbak. Den østligste er naturreservat av hensyn til fuglelivet; de øvrige er friluftsområde. Flere hundre overlevende fra Blücher kom seg i land her 9. april 1940.
