Søpla

Landing
Islets and skerries without a quay are reached by your own boat or by kayak. Many of them lie inside seabird reserves where landing is banned in the breeding season, as a rule from 15 April to 15 July. The boundaries and the dates are in Naturbase at the Norwegian Environment Agency, and they are worth checking before you go ashore.

Homlungen lies about 0.6 km from here. Liten holme utenfor Skjærhalden med Homlungen fyr, en trebygget fyrstasjon fra 1867 (ombygd 1915) med original fransk fjerdeordens linse fra 1878. Avbemannet/automatisert i 1952 og drives i dag som kystledhytte for overnatting.
