Landing

Islets and skerries without a quay are reached by your own boat or by kayak. Many of them lie inside seabird reserves where landing is banned in the breeding season, as a rule from 15 April to 15 July. The boundaries and the dates are in Naturbase at the Norwegian Environment Agency, and they are worth checking before you go ashore.

Tjøme lies about 3.3 km from here. Klassisk sommerøy sør i Færder, forbundet med Nøtterøy via Vrengenbrua (1932/1981). Ble et populært badested rundt 1900. Kjent for Verdens Ende med vippefyret, badestrender som Mostranda, og en skjærgård med rundt 475 mindre øyer og holmer.
