Landing

Many of them lie inside seabird reserves where landing is banned in the breeding season, as a rule from 15 April to 15 July. Konglungøya lies about 1.1 km from here. Knyttet til strandstedet Konglungen, som vokste fram fra fiskerboliger på 1700-tallet og ble utskipingssted for kalk og malm på 1800-tallet. Senere feriested med sveitservillaer, i dag velstående boligstrøk. På østenden ligger Konglungen naturminne (ca. 3 ha), praktisk talt utilgjengelig fra land.
