Islets and skerries without a quay are reached by your own boat or by kayak. Many of them lie inside seabird reserves where landing is banned in the breeding season, as a rule from 15 April to 15 July. Bleikøya lies about 0.4 km from here. Liten øy i indre Oslofjord mellom Hovedøya og Sjursøya, med rundt 90 fritidshytter fra 1920-30-tallet. Fra 1885 til 1926 lå det et sanatorium for barn med skrofulose (en form for tuberkulose) her; forfatteren Oskar Braaten var pasient som barn. Statseid, forvaltet av Statsbygg.
